    Title: Anthropogenic Mineral Collection
    By (author): Colleen Hargaden
    ISBN13: 9798987464526
In Anthropogenic Mineral Collection, Los Angeles-based artist Colleen Hargaden catalogs mineral byproducts of human geological intervention, spanning from the Industrial Revolution to the present. Evolving out of mines, furnaces, dumps, and nuclear test sites, these specimens point towards often obscured global systems of production, systems which are implicated within the production of the work itself. Comprised of still life â portraits,â microscopic views, and data regarding the origins, sources, and elemental makeup of 17 anthropogenic minerals, this publication is one manifestation of a larger project by the artist, taking the form of a geologic field guide. Packaged in mylar bag with companion fold out poster. Exterior: Textured â Tech-Weaveâ Cover with Metallic Foil Deboss Interior: 100lb Satin Coated Text

Title: Re: Siriality/ On Becoming Landscape
    By (author): Inès Kivimäki
    ISBN13: 9798987464519
In Re: Siriality/ On Becoming Landscape, Los Angeles-based artist Inès Kivimäki traces the origins of Appleâ s digital assistant, Siri, and its human counterpart, voice actor Susan Bennett who poses as a sonic mother-earth within a genealogy of artificial intelligence. Retelling and expanding this narrative though interviews with Bennett, Kivimäki asks her to recount her birth story, as well as Siriâ s through her embodiment. Using artificial intelligence as a means of envisioning Siriâ s physical incarnation and visual world, Kivimäki feeds her correspondence with Bennett and the nonsensical voice model scripts used to build Siriâ s voice to early stage text-to-image and text-to-video generators, creating an output that proposes a world where the algorithmic aligns with the mythic. This project delves into the psychedelic and alienating primordial soup of generative artificial intelligence through translation and mediation into image, sculpture, and video forms which collapse into one another synthesizing feedback loops of digital and mythical memory. Includes bookmark and link to view Kivimäkiâ s accompanying video, Water Mother. Exterior: Blind Post Swiss Bound Cover with Spot UV Ink Interior: 100lb Uncoated Text
