| â Snapshotsâ are very small personal fragments taken from the vast outside world. My photobook â Shinjukuâ that was published a long time ago was created in the same manner. The many Shinjuku photos once printed in the book have been dismantled, further cut into countless pieces and revived as a collage to express the â Nowâ as felt and perceived by Shohei Yoshida. I think that within this creation process, and in the spiral-like transformation of the images lies the suppleness of photography itself.
