| The Nuremberg trials not only had a major socio-political influence. With them, a change of consciousness is taking place, both nationally and internationally, that redefines the function of international law. International law is increasingly understood as a system of values that increasingly uses deduction as a means of finding law. Examples of the application of syllogistic legal knowledge can currently be found in international war law, immunity law and international criminal law, where the dynamic establishment of law benefits significantly from the increased awareness of human rights. However, there is uncertainty in the development of the necessary methodological standards because the legal methodological side of the principle of consensus has not previously been the focus of the discussion. This work deals with the central questions of modern legal sources and explores the relationship between legal method and legal sources based on important decisions. |
