| The chapters in this volume present the latest developments in medicine and biology. Chapters One reviews on m-Health in prehospital emergency medicine. Chapter Two analyses regional telemedicine network for the diagnosis and care of cardiac malformations. Chapter Three describes a computational fluid dynamic (CFD) approach with the aim to simulate the flow of blood with cardiac pulse through the aorta artery with aneurysm disease. In Chapter Four, a CFD study was carried out for real geometries of one specific patient and was resolved numerically the Navier-Stokes equations for the blood flow in abdominal aortic aneurysms with a pulsatile inlet condition in the ascending aorta. Chapter Ten studies the application of direct analysis in real time mass spectrometry on designer drug identification.
